Do spam words still matter?
Less than they used to. Gmail and Outlook mostly judge your sending reputation and how people react to your mail. But wording still counts, especially from a new domain with no history, and corporate filters still score it.
The bigger cost is human: an email full of urgency, hype and "click here" reads like a mass blast, so fewer people reply. That’s why this checker also flags the clichés that don’t trip filters but do get skipped.

Questions about spam words
Will one spam word send my email to spam?
Almost never. Filters add up many signals, and your domain’s reputation matters most. A single "free" is fine. Several triggers, ALL CAPS and a link shortener together are what tip an email over.
Is my email stored or sent anywhere?
No. The check runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Why are some phrases marked as clichés?
Lines like "I hope this email finds you well" or "just following up" won’t trip a filter, but they’re in so many cold emails that readers skim past them. Replacing them with something specific usually gets more replies.
How long should a cold email be?
Usually 50 to 125 words: enough to say why you’re writing to them and ask one easy question.
My copy is clean but my emails still go to spam. Why?
Check your domain’s SPF, DKIM and DMARC with the deliverability checker, make sure the inbox is warmed up, and ramp up volume slowly. Sending to a list with lots of bad addresses also hurts.
