Free email verifier
Check whether an email address exists before you send to it, so it doesn’t bounce and hurt your domain.
What we check
We check the address is written correctly and that its domain can receive mail, then ask the receiving mail server whether the mailbox exists, without sending an email.
Valid means the mailbox exists. Risky means it couldn’t be confirmed, usually because the domain accepts every address (catch-all). Invalid means it will bounce. We also flag disposable inboxes and shared ones like info@, which rarely reach a decision maker.
How to use it
- 1
Enter the address. Paste one email address and click Verify email.
- 2
Read the verdict. Valid, Risky or Invalid, with each check behind it.
- 3
Clean your list. Remove invalid addresses, and hold risky ones back from a new domain’s first campaigns.
Questions about verifying emails
Do you send an email to the address?
No. We ask the receiving mail server whether the mailbox exists and stop before anything is sent.
Why is there a daily limit?
Each check asks a real mail server about a real mailbox, so the free verifier is for checking a few addresses by hand. To check a whole list, import it into SuperSend, which validates contacts as they come in.
What is a catch-all domain?
A domain whose mail server accepts mail for any address, real or not. That makes it impossible to confirm a single mailbox, so we mark those addresses risky.
Why verify emails before a cold email campaign?
Bounces hurt your sender reputation. Inbox providers treat a high bounce rate as a sign of a bought or scraped list, so keep it under about 2% by removing invalid addresses before you send.
Is the address I check stored?
Not as an address. We save the verification result against a one-way hash of it, so checking it again is instant, and it isn’t added to any mailing list.
